Our veterinarians take several steps to ensure that your pet’s surgery is as safe, easy and stress free as possible. We will perform a series of blood tests to determine if your pet is a good candidate for anesthesia and to verify that the kidneys, heart, and liver are functioning properly. A certified veterinary technician will monitor your pet’s vitals before, during, and after surgery to make sure that he or she is safe and comfortable every step of the way.
Our veterinarians will go over your pet’s comprehensive pain management plan, which may include at-home pain medication to keep your dog or cat as comfortable as possible. We are more than happy to walk you through every step and explain everything you need to know for post-surgery care at home. If you have any specific questions regarding our surgical procedures, please give us a call.
If your pet already has signs of dental disease and further treatment is necessary we are able to perform oral surgery using our advanced equipment, including the use of digital dental radiographs.
